friends anyone?

Happy funny no-brainer movie dint happen but found myself watching the much hyped Saad Khan directed play Friends will be friends last night.
This one definately counts as a no brainer..not happy or funny by anyones stretch of imagination.took it for as long as we could..which was about 20 minutes..at the end of which there was this slightly strange item number/cheerleading sequence dance that left us mildly stunned..in a play for heaven sake...it wasnt even a bollywood masala movie.Theatre isnt normally supposed to be this inane.
The bunch of us could hardly be blamed for walking out midway.
For Bangaloreans considering watching this play today or tommorrow..two words..Please dont.

hmmm.......first of all i loved the play!!!!! it was entertainment....even though the story line wasnt all that great...i enjoyed it coz it was simple n i left the play feeling very relaxed n was in quite a good mood actually..it was light...thats what i needed....we need more light theatre today considering the fact that there are enough bad things happ...we dont need anything more to get us all worried n hyped up for no reason....saad khan has been named the karan johar of theatre n rightly so!

Dear ruth, tell me the truth.
Q1. Are you one of those people who don't believe in having children.. Because you don't want them to grow up in this terrible world? Seriously, tell me, are you one of those?

    Q2. Saad, is that you?

Q3. I mean, really.. is that you? I won't tell anyone, man.

If you need more frothy stuff, instead of heavy, ask for more cream with your cappuccino. Stop encouraging knuckleheads like mister khan from doling out fungated frothy shite and calling it theatre. Anyone with half a brain could see that Saad's work is insipid and unimaginative. Please. I repeat, please, stop patronizing him.

If you really like Karan Johar so much, stick with his films, don't look for his illegitimate children in theatre.

Q4. Saad, that is you, isn't it?

    Regard, Anonymous Coward.
